Human Variome Project: Training Course in Variant Interpretation
Modern high-throughput sequencing methods have revolutionized clinical genetics in recent years. However, the interpretation of the large number of proven sequence variants still poses a major challenge. The "Human Variome Project" (HVP) is once again organizing a training course this year in which the latest procedures for the interpretation of sequence variants are presented.
As part of our ongoing training and scientific commitment, our employees regularly take part in scientific conferences/courses. Also this year, the MGZ is represented by two speakers, Dr. Anna Benet-Pagѐs and Dr. Andreas Laner, with lectures at the course.
In the following video, Dr. Andreas Laner gives a short introduction to the Variome Training of the Human Variome Project's Variant Effect Prediction Training, which will take place in Malaysia from August 27-30, 2018.
